Tungsten heavy alloy utilizes tungsten as the base matrix with carefully controlled additions of nickel, iron, copper, and other alloying elements. This composition delivers exceptional characteristics including high adjustable density (~18.5g/cm³), superior high-energy radiation absorption capacity (33% higher than lead), low thermal expansion coefficient (4-6×10⁻⁶/ºC), excellent plasticity, high strength and elasticity modulus, along with superior machinability and weldability.
